Help
Make the Hooves and Paws Gala a Reality
Live and Let Live Farm (LLLF) Rescue wants to launch
a yearly gala to raise awareness and much needed funds. Some ideas for the
event are a dinner, entertainment, live auction, raffles, and a game board.
However, we need your help to make this gala a reality.
Do you have a friend or relative who owns a business, a time share/vacation
getaway, or has a special talent? If so, ask him or her to donate an item
to or become a sponsor of this event. Are you willing to spend some time networking
to find fellow animal lovers who may not be aware of the farm and our mission?
If so, tell them how they can help.
LLLF supporters must come forward to volunteer for this event. We are not
asking for your money, but rather your time and effort to make this event
a reality. Without your support, this event will not take place.
Over 60 horses and other animals at the farm need your help. If you are interested,
contact Wayne and Lora Parsons at attudog@comcast.net
before March 31, 2011.
We plan to have a kickoff meeting at the farm once we get committed volunteers.
The date and time will be announced after March 31st. Remember the animals
are depending on us; let’s not let them down!

2010
Year-in-Review
2010 was a busy and challenging year. LLLF gained several
new volunteers and assisted endless animals and their humans in need of help
from our outreach animal feed bank (Triple HHH program) and brought needy
animals home to the farm.
Several new paddocks were completed with run-ins leading up to the indoor
rehabilitation center thanks to Jerry’s ground work, Tom’s electrical expertise,
Dave’s handyman work, and our United Way Day of Caring group.
Our first year with the LLLF fundraising partnership calendar (featuring LLLF’s
own rescue animals) was a great success. Timberline High School was the first
school to join the partnership.
Many
businesses and organizations also joined in this venture that reaches into
the community to encourage literacy and to support the well-being of countless
animals coming to LLLF in need of food, patience, love, and care.
Established in 1997 and celebrating 2012 as our 10th anniversary since being
incorporated, LLLF is excited to bring to life our golden 2012, 10th anniversary
calendar. LLLF is honored to have the Grappone Automotive Group; Monterio
Group Inc. Plumbing and Heating, 603-731-0047; Quantum Life Healing, 603-485-7246;
the Rowley Agency, Inc., insurance, bonds & benefits, 603-224-2562; Mt.
Washington Graph-FX & Printing, 603-356-9563; and Equine Rehabilitation
Services, 603-566-6561 as sponsors. LLLF needs eight more sponsors to send
our 2012 calendar to print.
Contact Teresa Paradis at tehorse@aol.com or 603-798-5615 to become a sponsor of the 2012 LLLF calendar or for more information on the partnership calendar fundraising program.
